"I spent a lot of time in my 20s and early 30s going to warehouse raves and underground techno parties, taking enthusiastic part in dance music culture — I found it incredibly exciting, romantic, dangerous, artful. I wanted to make a track that evoked that time in my life: the woozy, zoned-out, loved-up feeling with more than a hint of menace. To me this track feels like the trance-like high point of the night when the early evening crowd has cleared out and only the heads are left, happily forgetting themselves for a moment." — TG, 2020
